SSPA's Best Practices 2008: "Essential Elements of Support" -- Santa Clara, CA

Welcome to Best Practices 2008: Essential Elements of Support--the event for discovering the latest trends and sharing the very best practices in technology service and support.

This year's event offers more than 70 unique sessions presented by your peers and industry experts who are here to share details on how they are tackling today's toughest challenges, including leveraging Web 2.0 for customer support, effective knowledge management, talent management strategies, and driving service innovation.

The Technology Services Expo features leading-edge exhibitors demonstrating how their products and services increase productivity and customer satisfaction. Innovation Tours are being led throughout the event by John Ragdale, SSPA's VP of Technology Research, who walks attendees through the show floor and showcases the latest in technology services firsthand.

The STAR Awards for Best Practices Ceremony is a must-attend event that will be held Tuesday afternoon. Here you'll find out which support organizations have been recognized by their peers for having exceptional service and support capabilities.

Feel free to check back at this event blog periodically, as I will be posting event information and pictures as the action occurs! And feel free to share your experiences in the Comments area as well. This is as much your event as it is ours, and we encourage your feedback and participation.

This year's event is especially unique in that our sister association--the Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA)--is concurrently hosting their "Achievements in PS: Case Studies in Applied Innovation" summit at this location as well, making the networking opportunities greater, the learning better, and the tech expo larger and more exciting. Check out the TPSA blog spot as well.

On behalf of all SSPA and TPSA staff, welcome, and enjoy!
